Our Mission

Tradition as a path to empowerment

The Shaolin Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to the study, practice, and preservation of traditional Chinese martial arts — in particular the Fu Jow Pai (Tiger Claw) system. Through structured training, cultural education, and community programming, we help students develop discipline, resilience, and lifelong physical health.

We believe martial arts training is for everyone. Our programs serve youth, adults, and seniors across Staten Island and the greater New York area, regardless of experience level or financial means.

Community & Cultural Events

Public demonstrations, lion dance performances, cultural celebrations, and workshops that share Chinese martial arts heritage with the wider community.
